Key Chinese Associations, UKTI and industry leading names in support of inaugural event to be held in Shanghai this year.

Seawork Asia reported their recent press briefing in Beijing a resounding success with 30 press representatives from trade and national publications taking part. High level representatives gave speeches including the First Secretary, Mr Ian Lockhart, from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI); Managing Director of SBTC Traffic and Advanced Engineering Industry, Mr Zhang Qiurong; Deputy Director of China Ship Information Centre, Mr Changan Binfeng; Deputy Secretary General of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, Mr Qian Xinnan and Deputy Secretary of Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (CSNAME), Mr Jin Xiangjun.

Joint Seawork exhibition organiser, Andrew Webster, flew from the UK to Beijing especially for the press conference. He outlined to the engaged audience why China is such an essential market for Seawork and how it will drive International relationships and business.

The General Manager of Volvo Panda, Mr Matteo Gasparatto and Mr Liu Liguo, the General Manager of Changzhou FRP shipyard, well-known names from the commercial marine industry, both gave speeches emphasising their support and involvement in the exhibition.

The press conference finished the announcement of our next press conference launch in Shanghai on the 29th July.

Seawork Asia will be held from 4-6 November at SWEECC in Shanghai.
