With less than a week to go until Seawork Asia 2018 opens its doors, it’s a first for the exhibition as it prepares to welcome a record number of VIPs from the CPMA (China Maritime Pilot Association). Eighty-five pilots are registered to attend Seawork Asia this year.

Seawork Asia is the largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition in the Asian region and, as part of the VIP programme that helps makes the exhibition unique, the Vice Chairman and Vice General Secretary of the CPMA plus representatives from each of the Pilot Stations will be attending the China Pilot Boat and Equipment Development Summit Forum and Seawork Asia itself.

Part of the active implementation of "Made in China 2025" and organized jointly by CPMA and Seawork Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (Seawork Asia Organizing Committee), the China Pilot Boat and Equipment Development Summit Forum promotes exchange and cooperation within the pilot industry at home and abroad, as well as the integration and development of China's pilot boats and equipment. This year’s forum, to be held on  7 November 2018, day two of Seawork Asia, is sponsored by Volvo Penta, a global, world-leading supplier of engines and complete power solutions for marine and industrial applications.

The CPMA pilot VIPs will also attend the Seawork Asia Banquet - the perfect opportunity to share superb food, networking, good company and interesting conversation

Seawork Asia provides unique access to the fast-growing Asia region sector, attracting 100 exhibitors and more than 5,500 attendees from 12 countries, bringing 240 brands and 5,000 products to the event.
