Seamless service from logistical alliance

PSP Alliance members are chosen for their expertise, in-depth knowledge of their local area and their presence in the boatbuilding and marina industries

‘We hope that Seawork Asia will give us a platform to help grow our network in one of the most influential commercial marine markets in the world’ – that’s the wish of first time Seawork Asia exhibitor PSP Logistics.

The PSP Alliance is a network of handpicked agents from all four corners of the earth, who work together to provide a seamless service for PSP Logistics’ customers. Members of the Alliance work closely with PSP to ensure each piece of precious cargo is transported safely and on time.

Set up in 2009, PSP Alliance members are chosen for their expertise, in-depth knowledge of their local area and their presence in the boatbuilding and marina industries. Alliance members include leading firms from Germany, Spain, India, South Africa, China, Dubai, Australasia, the USA and Antigua. Each has been trained in the 'PSP way', ensuring customers get a smooth, professional service in every part of the world.

Chinese and Hong Kong freight forwarder Helka International has been working with PSP for many years; with 16 offices throughout China, Helka is able to provide vast logistical coverage throughout the region.  In the spirit of the PSP Alliance, PSP has used its expertise to help Helka grow its yacht transport department through a combination of training and support visits.

Jo Dixie-Goodwin, Marketing Director – PSP Logistics, says, ‘We have a long-standing relationship with Helka International and have shipped many commercial and leisure vessels together to and from the region.  We both have great relationships with shipyards, brands and ship owners and look forward to extending our network and meeting with clients and seeking new opportunities at Seawork Asia.’

Helka will join PSP at the Seawork Asia exhibition with a team from each of the Helka Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.
