Volvo in the right place at the right time at Seawork Asia!
President of Volvo Penta in China, Matteo Gasparetto, presented the reasons during the Beijing press conference why they will be exhibiting at the exhibition in November.
He talked further about the new government report issued by the China Institute for Marine Affairs which explained how the maritime industry in China is still underdeveloped and its growth is "extensive" rather than "intensive." The government is anticipating fast growth in the next 17 years with the industry expected to become stable in 2030. “That means that we, as exhibitors of Seawork Asia, are in the right place at the right time!” said Mr Gasparetto.
Volvo Penta develops, manufactures and markets world-leading engines and complete power systems for boats and industrial applications. They will bring their commercial, coast guard and patrol, supply vessel and offshore energy solutions to Seawork Asia.
Matteo Gasparetto finished with “We all look forward to the coming exhibition in November in Shanghai with great anticipation and excitement. I wish the organisers, the exhibitors and all participants a big success for the 1st edition of Seawork Asia and a bright and prosperous future.
